Despite the high demand, despite the hype, despite all the glory – prices have dropped and are dropping. Rental market has seen big dips in certain areas. I have been receiving calls inquiring about rentals in the 1600 range when I have not seen those figures in ten years. As for housing the same seems to have happened, Bed Stuy is rising, however I have seen some major adjustments. Real Estate is cyclical and therefore sees change constantly, after all the only constant in Real Estate is change !
Some areas had unprecedented increases, clearly this rate of growth is not sustainable for the long run, so without it sounding like a sales pitch – get out there and buy some Real Estate or find a bigger rental apartment- now is certainly the time to make the move.
Whether you want to upgrade from a 1 bed to a 2, or 3 bed to a house the time is now, the gap is not as gigantic as it was, still big but not not possible ! Get with it and get out there.
