Why do people respond negatively to rain ?

It never fails , when the news reports show that the weather patterns reflect rain people grunt, grumble, moan and ask why ?

So why do people respond negatively to rain when rain has so many positive contributions to earth ?

People are thinking only about themselves that’s why. My hair is going to come out bad, my shoes get wet, my clothes get wet, it’s dreary out, makes me sad, you need to carry an umbrella and rain gear, delays happen, people can’t drive , traffic increases all these reasons are self centered.

Rain, is only water. This water allows for the streets to clean up, the buildings to clean up and more importantly feeds farms and flowers and allows for things to grow . Trees need water and guess what we need trees!

So next time when it rains, think of planet earth and the good effect of rain onto it, then remember this is where we live and so if we get wet in the interim it’s for a greater cause!

Rain doesn’t bother me, I like to worry and rant about other things. Rain also keeps people indoors and away from open houses , it should not ! Drag your boots and umbrellas and get out there and don’t let a few drops of water stop you from doing what you like to do !
